Cookie policy
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device when you visit them. They are used to remember preferences, keep sessions active, and analyse how the site is used.
2. Necessary (technical) cookies
These cookies are essential for the site to function, including the cookie that remembers your consent choice itself. They do not require prior consent because the website cannot operate correctly without them.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
strudo-session |
Maintains the user session on the server. | Session |
XSRF-TOKEN |
Protection against CSRF attacks on forms. | Session |
locale |
Stores the user's language preference (ES/EN). | 1 year |
cookie_consent |
Stores your choice for the optional cookie categories (preferences, statistics, marketing). | 1 year |
3. Preferences cookies (require consent)
Optional cookies to remember interface settings such as language or visual theme. Strudo does not currently set any additional cookie in this category beyond what's already covered by the (necessary) locale cookie — this option is offered so you can decide in advance whether to enable it if it's used in the future.
4. Statistics cookies (require consent)
These cookies collect information about how visitors use the website. We use two services: Google Analytics (GA4), which measures aggregated traffic metrics (visits, session duration, page views), and Microsoft Clarity, which generates heatmaps and anonymous recordings of browsing sessions — unlike GA4, these aren't just aggregated statistics: it's a replay of the actual interactions of each session (mouse movements, clicks, scrolling), always without data that directly identifies you. Both services are only activated if you give your explicit consent via the cookie banner, and you can revoke it at any time from "Manage cookies".
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Analytics (GA4) | Distinguishes unique users to measure site traffic. | 2 years |
_gid |
Google Analytics (GA4) | Distinguishes users during a 24-hour session. | 24 hours |
_ga_* |
Google Analytics (GA4) | Maintains the GA4 session state. | 2 years |
_clck |
Microsoft Clarity | Remembers the Clarity user ID and preferences across visits to the site, to associate multiple browsing sessions with the same user. | 1 year (per Microsoft Clarity's documentation) |
_clsk |
Microsoft Clarity | Connects multiple page views by the same user into a single Clarity session recording. | 1 day (per Microsoft Clarity's documentation) |

5. Marketing cookies (require consent)
Optional cookies for advertising campaigns and personalised content. Strudo does not currently use any advertising service or set any marketing cookie — this option is offered so you can decide in advance, following Google's consent standard (Consent Mode v2), in case it's activated in the future.
6. Managing cookies
You can change your preferences at any time by clicking "Manage cookies", always available in the footer of any page on the site. You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies:
